Ceva AMP-5 Injection

AMP-5 Injection contains adenosine-5-monophosphate (200 mg/ml), a natural vasodilator that markedly increases blood flow to skeletal and heart muscle in athletic horses.

• Increases blood, oxygen and nutrient supply to working muscles
• Helps remove waste such as lactic acid, delaying fatigue and cramping
• Used in the prevention of tying-up
• May help prevent heart strain during and after strenuous exercise
• Often combined with Tripart and/or Cophos B

Directions for use: Horses: 2.5 ml per 100 kg bodyweight by intramuscular injection only, given 24 hours and again 4–6 hours before hard work. Never give intravenously – this may cause a sudden severe drop in blood pressure, collapse and death. Use within 28 days of first opening. Not to be used in horses that may be slaughtered for human consumption.
