Cronyxin Injection is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) solution containing flunixin 50 mg/ml (as flunixin meglumine), with anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and fever-reducing action.
- Cattle: control of acute inflammation associated with respiratory disease; supportive treatment of acute mastitis
- Horses: relief of inflammation and pain in musculoskeletal disorders and of visceral pain associated with colic
- Active ingredient: flunixin 50 mg/ml (as flunixin meglumine)
Directions for use: Cattle: 2 ml per 45 kg body weight by intravenous injection, once daily for up to 3–5 days. Horses: 1 ml per 45 kg body weight by intravenous injection, repeated as needed (colic: repeat once or twice if signs recur). Do not use with other NSAIDs. Withdrawal period (IV): cattle meat 4 days, milk 24 hours; horses meat 5 days. Use under veterinary prescription.
