Bromo Tmps is an oral powder combining a potentiated sulphonamide antibacterial with a mucolytic for respiratory infections in horses.
- Per gram: sulfadimidine 430 mg, trimethoprim 86 mg and bromhexine hydrochloride 8.6 mg.
- For respiratory infections caused by organisms susceptible to sulfadimidine/trimethoprim, where mucolytic action is also wanted.
- Culture and sensitivity testing is recommended, especially in chronic or non-responsive cases.
Directions for use: One level scoop (12 g) per 200 kg bodyweight orally, twice daily, mixed into feed or made into a paste with molasses, honey or syrup and given over the back of the tongue.
