Calject 50 is an injectable calcium and magnesium solution from TeknoVet, Turkey: calcium gluconate 465 mg, calcium acetate 37 mg and magnesium hypophosphite 30 mg per ml.
- Milk fever (hypocalcaemia), pregnancy toxaemia and eclampsia
- Grass tetany, transit tetany and lactation tetany in mares
- Rickets, osteomalacia and other bone disorders
- Supportive use in allergic reactions, laminitis and poisoning
Directions for use: Slow IV, IM or SC injection unless the veterinarian advises otherwise. Horses and cattle (200–500 kg): 80–100 ml. Sheep and goats (25–50 kg): 15–25 ml. Stop when the animal responds; repeat if the animal has not stood within 5–8 hours.
Withdrawal period: meat and milk 0 days.
