Tonicorre from Chinfield, Argentina, is an injectable respiratory stimulant for horses containing disodium succinate 20 g per 100 ml. 50 ml vial.
- Respiratory depression
- Increases respiratory volume
- Adjunct to help prevent exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage
- One dose gives clear respiratory stimulation lasting several hours
Directions for use: Parenteral. Preventive: 2 ml per 100 kg body weight. Curative: 4 ml per 100 kg body weight. Must be given by a veterinarian. Do not use in hypersensitivity, liver cirrhosis or biliary obstruction.
