Cystorelin is an injectable gonadorelin (GnRH) solution for breeding cows and heifers.
- Each ml contains 50 µg gonadorelin (as diacetate tetrahydrate).
- Treatment of follicular cysts in breeding cows and heifers, as part of Repeat Breeding Syndrome.
- Regularisation of the oestrus cycle, including preventing delayed ovulation when injected on the day of artificial insemination.
- Withdrawal period: meat and offal 0 days; milk 0 hours.
Directions for use: 2 ml (100 µg gonadorelin) per cow by intramuscular or intravenous injection. To improve pregnancy rates, inject 4 to 10 hours after oestrus detection, with at least 2 hours between injection and insemination. For cystic ovaries, check for a corpus luteum about one week after treatment and repeat if needed.
