Equinate I.V. is a sodium hyaluronate injection for intravenous treatment of lameness in horses.
- Contains sodium hyaluronate 10 mg/mL.
- For lameness due to non-infectious synovitis, possibly associated with early degenerative joint disease.
- Single-dose vials for intravenous use.
Directions for use: 4 mL (40 mg) per adult horse (450–500 kg) by intravenous injection; may be repeated at weekly intervals for a total of three treatments.
Prescription medicine: for use under veterinary supervision; supply in the UAE may require a veterinary prescription.
