Galapan is a prostaglandin (D-cloprostenol) injection for reproductive management in cows, sows and mares.
- Active ingredient: D-cloprostenol (as sodium salt) 75 µg per ml
- Cows: oestrus induction and synchronisation, ovarian dysfunction (e.g. persistent corpus luteum, luteal cysts), endometritis and pyometra, induction of parturition and termination of pregnancy
- Sows: induction of parturition
- Mares (not intended for human consumption): oestrus induction and other breeding-management uses
- For intramuscular use only
Directions for use: Intramuscular only. Cattle: 0.150 mg D-cloprostenol, equivalent to 2 ml. Sows: 0.075 mg D-cloprostenol, equivalent to 1 ml. Mares: 0.075 mg D-cloprostenol, equivalent to 1 ml.
