MuscleGUARD Paste is an event-day oral paste for horses that combines amino acids, antioxidants and B vitamins to support stamina and help recovery from muscle soreness and fatigue after strenuous exercise.

L-carnitine and L-carnosine help buffer lactic acid and preserve energy stores
DMG supports oxygen uptake and helps delay fatigue
Alpha-lipoic acid and grape seed extract help neutralise free radicals released during exercise
B vitamins support energy metabolism and normal nerve and muscle function
Useful for travelling horses

Directions for use: Mix into the horse's feed (rates for a 500 kg horse). Give half a tube 3 to 4 hours before the event and the remaining half immediately after the event. For horses with persistent muscle soreness, the manufacturer recommends LoosenUP daily plus MuscleGUARD on event day.
