A meloxicam injection (NSAID) for horses, cattle, pigs and sheep.
- Meloxicam 20 mg/mL; 100 mL multi-dose vial
- Horses: single-dose rapid start of therapy for musculoskeletal disorders and relief of colic pain
- Cattle: with antibiotics for acute respiratory infection, diarrhoea and mastitis, and for pain after dehorning
- Sheep and lambs from 14 days: relief of pain and inflammation
Directions for use: Horses: single use only by intravenous injection, 0.6 mg/kg bodyweight (3.0 mL/100 kg); oral meloxicam may continue treatment after 24 hours. Cattle: single subcutaneous or IV injection, 0.5 mg/kg (2.5 mL/100 kg). Sheep: single subcutaneous injection, 1.0 mg/kg (1.0 mL/20 kg). Discard 28 days after first broaching.
