Anti-Stamin is an injectable antihistamine from Laboratorios Tornel, Mexico, containing diphenhydramine hydrochloride 10 mg/ml, for cattle, horses, sheep, dogs and cats.
- Cattle: anti-allergic treatment, seasonal rhinitis, pulmonary emphysema
- Horses: anti-allergic treatment, pulmonary emphysema
- Sheep: hepatogenous photosensitisation and allergic oedema
- Dogs and cats: anti-allergic treatment and haemorrhagic gastroenteritis
Directions for use: By IM or very slow IV injection every 12 hours. Cattle: 1 mg/kg (10 ml per 100 kg) for 5 days. Horses: 0.25–1 mg/kg (2.5–10 ml per 100 kg) for 5 days. Sheep: 3 mg/kg (6 ml per 20 kg) for 5 days. Dogs and cats: 2–5 mg/kg (1–2.5 ml per 5 kg) for 3–5 days.
Withdrawal period: meat and milk 48 hours. Do not use in animals with glaucoma, hypertension or prostatic hypertrophy. Store at 15–30 °C.
