Vapcocortin-Forte from VAPCO, Jordan, is an injectable corticosteroid containing dexamethasone sodium phosphate 2 mg/ml. 50 ml vial.
- Inflammatory, rheumatic and allergic conditions; shock
- Sprains, tendinitis and osteoarthritis
- Skin conditions such as eczema and urticaria
- Ketosis and pregnancy toxaemia
- Supportive treatment in milk fever, mastitis, metritis, shipping fever, stress, insect and snake bites
Directions for use: IM or slow IV injection. Cattle, camels and horses: 5–10 ml per animal. Calves, foals, sheep, goats and pigs: 1–3 ml per animal. Lambs, kids, dogs, cats and piglets: 0.1–1 ml per animal. Repeat if necessary. Do not use in late pregnancy or together with vaccines.
Withdrawal period: meat 3 weeks; milk 3 days.
