Tulissin 100 is a long-acting macrolide antibiotic injection containing tulathromycin 100 mg/ml, used for the treatment and prevention of respiratory disease in cattle and sheep with a single dose.
- Active ingredient: tulathromycin 100 mg/ml
- Cattle: treatment and metaphylaxis of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni and Mycoplasma bovis; also infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (pink eye) and interdigital necrobacillosis (foot rot)
- Sheep: early stages of footrot
- Single-dose treatment
Directions for use: 2.5 mg tulathromycin per kg body weight (1 ml per 40 kg) as a single injection. Cattle: subcutaneous injection, no more than 7.5 ml per site. Sheep: intramuscular injection in the neck. Withdrawal period (meat and offal): cattle 22 days, sheep 16 days. Not for animals producing milk for human consumption. Use under veterinary prescription.
