Provet-D3 is an oily injectable solution containing 1,000,000 IU vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) per ml.
- Used for bone development disorders from vitamin D deficiency such as rickets and osteomalacia
- Used to prevent and treat hypocalcaemia in cows
- Supports skeletal growth in young fattening animals
- Marketed for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, dogs and cats
Directions for use: Intramuscular. Ruminants and horses: 1 ml (1,000,000 IU) per 50 kg. Dogs and cats: 0.1-0.5 ml per 10 kg. Hypocalcaemia prevention in cows: usually a single 10 ml dose, 2-8 days before calving. Meat withdrawal 21 days; milk 0 days (cow and sheep).
